WRESTLER'S HISTORY
What little is known of Emma's past reveals that her birth name is Victoria Lynette Essex, a name she kept until the age of fourteen. From the age of sixteen until the present, she has been known as Emma Carlisle, the only moniker she knew or answered to for several years. Details remain sketchy, but signs point to a trio of men working from within the company her birth parents built, warping the young woman with a combination of harsh training, psychological conditioning/torture and potent drugs that affect the mind and emotions. This was done for a purpose yet to be explained and while the effects are finally starting to filter out, they still plague her. She was off the grid for one year following the deaths of her parents, the details of their demise highly suspicious yet currently inconclusive, and it was assumed that the young woman had committed suicide in her grief. What happened during her fifteenth year even Emma herself does not know. Chance occurrences led to the case of her disappearance being reopened nearly ten years after she disappeared and through this Emma not only regained the reins of her parents' company but was also able to deal with the people responsible for making her into what she is today. The manner of this 'dealing with' goes unspoken among all save for her inner circle, the Horsewomen and her trusted confidant, Eleanor Merriweather, a woman likewise affected by Emma's own warping.
Recently, Emma began taking sessions with her fiancee's psychologist, Dr. Opeare Shields. According to these sessions and his personal records, Emma is beginning to reconnect with herself and reacquire some of the person she used to be. However the end result of where this will lead is still in question. While the 'Victoria' side has been acknowledged and is gaining traction, the 'Emma' side is still strong and demanding control. According to their most recent session, Dr. Shields fears a self-destruction if an accord is not reached within Emma's mind.
Since the closing of VoW, Emma has lived quietly in Malibu, working as a librarian to satisfy her need for knowledge and further her aptitude in linguistics. She has kept herself in shape despite being inactive, working with her private company, 3S, as well as serving as a consultant for Essex Pharmaceuticals since passing the reins of the company to Eleanor and Melchior. However, her life recently took a turn when her partner of a few years, Joanna Thade, disappeared without a trace. This event shifted Emma in an unexpected direction and, after selling her home in Malibu and installing interim leadership to handle day-to-day matters at 3S, she returned home to Coventry a changed woman. Upon being notified of the opening of Queen City Wrestling, Carlisle was spurred to step back into the wrestling business. But will she be the same woman who was World Heavyweight Champion... or something more?
CURRENT/FORMER ASSOCIATES
The Horsewomen of Chaos (Emma, Joanna Thade, Katalina Star and Talon): Emma's stable within VoW. Though they no longer work formally as a unit, all remain very close... except for Joanna, who has since disappeared, prompting Emma's reversion and reemergence.
The Chosen: A group of five young women who started as fans of Emma during her early days in wrestling and joined her side, becoming the backbone of her self-built company, 3S. Their ranks have since grown though they stay out of the spotlight.
CURRENT/FORMER ACCOLADES
VoW World Heavyweight Champion (final champion)
QCW World Champion (first, current)
NOTABLE FEUDS
Constance Chapin: Emma and Constance turned an unheralded match into a violent feud that saw friends of the Mancunian brought into the crossfire, including Candi of the Sleepover Club which led to another feud in and of itself. They clashed in several violent encounters before a First Blood Match ended things with Emma on top. At that point, Emma considered the matter settled and Constance "dealt with" even though they would meet again down the road.
Joanna Thade: A feud that was the brainchild of their respective companies, a strange relationship formed before, during and after their sole match versus one another, a First Blood Match, which saw barbed-wire baseball bats and switchblades drawn before Emma eventually took the win. The rest is history. Bloody, violent history. Recently the two clashed again as Joanna sought to test herself against her sisters defeating Emma, Talon and Katalina Star in a handicap match.
The Sleepover Club: This feud led to the formation of the Chaossworn as they clashed with Candi, Cherry and Sophie Kaiser in a series of tag matches. More often than not, Emma and Joanna came out on top despite flashes of skill and brilliance by the SOC.
Sophie Kaiser: A spin-off of the Sleepover Club that saw Little Miss Sunshine turn dark due to Emma's machinations though other factors played a large part as well. Their sole one-on-one encounter, a Submission Match, led to Emma breaking Sophie's undefeated streak via Melodious Nihilism, sending the young Kaiser out of GPW.
Head Office: A choice remark over Twitter led to a short yet high-level feud between Emma and Head Office. In the process she defeated Veronica Valiant to force her way into a four-way Submission Smash match for the GPW World Heavyweight Championship and took a nasty four-on-one beatdown from G.O.D., Jo MacFarlane and Veronica. In the four-way, she held up her promise of denying Veronica the championship, which was eventually won by Constance Chapin, ending the reign of Gaia Galanos.
Casanova English: Seemingly on a whim, on the Breakthrough following Fate of the Gods II, Emma, stinging from a tough loss with Joanna to the Neon Girls and interrupted by Ryder Blade, made the brash claim that Casanova English 'belonged' to her. Breakthrough 48 saw her take a disqualification win over English and at 49 she and Joanna defeated the champion and Ryder Blade in a main event tag match, spewing rhetoric and threats at one another all the while. At Heatstroke in a main event pitting English, Blade and Emma agaisnt one another with the big belt on the line and a veritable buffet of people wanting in on the action, Emma pinned English to become not only the first female World Visionary Champion but to earn her very first title.

Writer’s Notes
Strengths
Death Factor: Emma intimidates through presence and reputation alone in many cases. Naturally, not everyone is given to being intimidated, so this isn't always a given, but even against iron-willed opponents she still comes off as a bit creepy if nothing else. This can be an opening.
Relentless: The more an opponent is hurting, the more Emma likes it. She'll gnaw on an open wound, twist a damaged limb and whatever else she must do to get a scream out of her opponent. That was always the case but lately she has 'refined' this approach, becoming more calculating at taking advantage of an opponent's suffering.
Precision Suffering: Emma strives to make even basic moves hurt as much as possible. Bringing a suplexed opponent down more on the head and shoulders than the back or throwing herself harder into a clothesline than she has to being examples of this.
Deadly Fortitude: Despite how she may carry herself in and out of the ring, Death is NOT unstoppable. Examples of a rough life are etched into her skin and she'll be the first to admit that she's not all there mentally or emotionally. She can, however, take quite the beating. Not unstoppable, not incapable of tapping out, but certainly requiring a grand amount of punishment before giving in.
Weaknesses
Insatiable Bloodlust: At the risk of being cliche, Emma feeds off the pain and despair of her opponents. And if they're enemies, this is multiplied. She can sometimes forget herself and her strategy in the process of making someone suffer which can give a cagey opponent an opening or draw a disqualification. Sometimes proving a point is more important than victory.
Death Never Sleeps: Since winning the championship from Casanova English, and despite the company it represented closing, Emma has determined that she will neither slow nor mitigate her mission even if it means she must push herself even harder than before. A sharp mind and lots of guts can overcome a lot but sometimes the body can't keep up with the mind.
No Prey Too Small: Despite having a veritable army at her beck and call, Emma often chooses to fight most battles, even those putting her at a disadvantage, on her own. Sometimes those close to her can talk her out of rash behavior but other times... it's head-first into the fray.
Tunnel Vision: When Emma gets a goal in mind it takes a Herculean effort to turn her from it. Smart adversaries can draw her in through this if they can weather her onslaught.
